GATE 2021

The examination would be purely a Computer Based Test (CBT).

Qualifying in GATE is a mandatory requirement for seeking admission and/or financial assistance for doing Mtech/PHD programs. Many Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) have been using the GATE score in their recruitment process

Eligibility A candidate who has completed or who is atleast a 3^rd year student is eligible to apply.

2.A candidate can appear in ANY ONE or UP TO TWO papers of the GATE examination. However, note that the combination of TWO papers in which a candidate can appear MUST be from the pre-defined list as given below

3.Choice of Examination City: The candidate can choose FOUR cities from the list of examination cities.The first, second and third choices must be from the same GATE zone and fourth choice can be from any GATE zone.

6.GATE 2021 score card will remain valid for THREE years from the date of announcement of results. After the declaration of results, GATE 2021 Scorecards of the qualified candidates can be downloaded free of cost between 26 March 2021 to 31 May 2021 from the GOAPS portal.

In case, GATE qualified candidates require the soft copy of their GATE Scorecard after 31 May 2021 and till 31 December 2021, they MUST pay a fee of ₹500 for obtaining the same. From January 1 2022 onwards, NO scorecard will be issued by GATE authority for GATE 2021 qualified candidates.

Kerala PSC Technical exams – December 2020

Kerala PSC has released exam dates of two long awaited exams – whose notification came long back in 2017 and 2015 respectively. Details are shared below.Aspirants has to give confirmation in PSC website before October 11th.

3.Pay Scale Candidates joining NLCIL as Graduate Executive Trainee (GET) will undergo training for One year. During Training period, basic pay of INR. 50,000 in the scale of pay of INR. 50,000-1,60,000 (E-2 Grade) will be paid. On successful completion of training, the trainees will be absorbed in E3 Grade in the scale of pay INR. 60,000-1,80,000 with a basic pay of INR. 60,000.

4. Online Exam The On-line Exam will be held for a duration of 2 hrs.

The Question Paper will consist of two parts,Part-I with 40 questions on Quantitative aptitude, Logical Reasoning, General Awareness, Data Interpretation and General English and Part-II with 80 Questions on Professional Knowledge (Discipline related), totally 120 objective type questions with multiple choice answers.

The final selection will be based on the aggregate of marks scored by the candidate in the Computer Based Online Examination and Interview (80% weightage for Computer Based Online Examination Score and 20% weightage for Personal Interview).

5.Application Fees Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable amount of Rs.854/- [INR 500/-towards Application fee plus INR 354/- (Inclusive of 18% GST) towards Processing fee] through e-payment (Using SBIMOPS through the online application).

Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD & Ex-Servicemen categories are exempted from paying application fee. However, they have to pay a non-refundable amount of INR 354/-
